Discovering West Mercia Challenge

In 2018 we launched our first county challenge badge Discovering West Mercia Challenge. It aims to help girls learn about their unit, division, county and local area in a fun and exciting way.

Peer Education

Peer educators are 14-15 year olds who help Brownies, Guides and Rangers, explore important topics. As young people, they use their own experience to bring the subject go life.

​If you are interested in learning more, having a session or know someone who wants to become a Peer Educator, use the message us form and add the subject of Peer Education.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

As a county we offer the opportunity for girls to complete their Duke of Edinburgh’s award. We will form the expedition groups and facilitate this part of their award, while offering advice on the other sections.

As a county we offer a vast variety of different training courses. Whether you’re a new leader or you’ve been guiding for years they’ll be something new for you to try.

Residential Forms

Tettenhall Depot

Despite not being run by the county, Tettenhall Depot is a great resource for all to use. One of the top Girlguiding Depots in the country, they have a great stock of uniforms, badges, resources and gifts.
