Warley Division
The Girlguiding division of Warley is an area in the metropolitan borough of Sandwell in the West Midlands and includes the towns Smethwick and Oldbury.
Warley Woods is a grade II listed public park in Smethwick. The Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Smethwick is said to be the oldest and largest Gurdwara in Europe. Smethwick was also home to the first public swimming baths in the country, they opened in 1888 and remained open until the late 1980s. The building has now been moved to the Black County Living Museum. Oldbury was home to Sir John Fredrick Bridge CVO. He was a famous organist, composer and author known for his long stint as organist at Westminster Abbey (1882-1919).
